A warm and welcoming family in Belgravia are looking for an energetic, engaging andcapable Weekend Nanny to care for their two boys, aged 5 and 7.
Both boys areactive, imaginative and incredibly curious. They love spending time outdoors,riding their bikes and getting involved in new activities. The eldest hasrecently developed an interest in sports and is keen to start playing cricket,while both boys have a lovely friendship group and enjoy a busy and sociableweekend routine.
Weekends mightinclude taking the boys to activities, parks, museum, playdates or spendingquality time with the parents and family friends, depending on the week.
The boys respondparticularly well to someone who can provide clear, consistent boundaries. Anenergetic Nanny with plenty of common sense, confidence and the ability tofollow through would be an excellent fit. The role will involve a mixture ofsole-charge care and working alongside the parents, so flexibility and an easy-going,collaborative approach will be important. The family are very happy for theNanny to take full ownership of the boys' day when needed, while also beingcomfortable adapting around family plans.
Duties willinclude planning and accompanying activities and outings, overseeing playdatesand weekend commitments, preparing meals for the children during the day andgenerally ensuring they are happy, engaged and well cared for. There are noformal nursery duties, although the Nanny should naturally tidy up afterthemselves and the children throughout the day.
Occasionalovernight care and proxy parenting would be extremely helpful but are notessential. The family also have evening babysitters they regularly use, soevening work is not a requirement; however, additional hours can be availablefor a candidate who would prefer a longer working weekend.
This role wouldsuit a warm, switched-on and energetic Nanny who is confident with school-agedchildren, has excellent common sense and enjoys creating fun and activeweekends.
The family have anopen start date and are happy to be flexible for the right person.
